The Alfonsas Rimkus Memorial Checkers Tournament concludes. After seven rounds of competition, the winners and runners-up of the tournament were announced. Darius Dobrovolskas won with 6.5 points out of 7, Darius Blaževičius second, Lionginas Narbutas third, Jurgita Dobrovolskaitė won among women, Lina Jančiauskienė second, Juzefa Bakanauskienė third. In the under-15 category, Vakarė Račkauskaitė was first, Kristupas Jakubauskas second and Martynas Jakubauskas third.
The tournament was organised by the Bijūnai checkers club "Bijūnėlis" and Bijūnai udc, and sponsored by Trakai municipality.
