Prevention of corruption - Identifying and addressing the causes and conditions of corruption through the design and implementation of a system of appropriate measures, as well as influencing individuals in order to deter them from committing offences of a corrupt nature.

Criminal offences of a corrupt nature - bribery, influence peddling, bribery and other criminal offences committed in the public administration sector or in the provision of public services for the purpose of gaining an advantage for oneself or others: abuse of office or abuse of authority, misuse of official powers, falsification of documents or instruments of measurement, fraud, misappropriation or embezzlement of assets, false declaration of income, profits or assets, money or property laundering, interference in the activities of a public servant or a person performing a public administration function, or other criminal offences where the commission of such offences is intended or required to induce a bribe or a bribe, or to conceal or disguise bribery or corruption.

Trakai District Multifunctional Centre Bijūnai implements the corruption prevention measures approved in the National Anti-Corruption Programme of the Republic of Lithuania 2015-2025, the Trakai District Municipality Corruption Prevention Programme 2021-2023, and the Trakai District Multifunctional Centre Bijūnai Corruption Prevention Programme.
