The Alfonsas Rimkus Memorial Checkers Tournament organised by the Bijūnai Multifunctional Centre and the Bijūnėlis Checkers Club came to an end this Saturday. 29 participants took part in the tournament. The winner was Algis Račkauskas from Karapolis, the second was Audrius Jakubauskas from Lentvaris, the third was Tadas Vitkauskas from Trakai. In the women's competition, the winner was Giedrutė Stanišauskienė from Trakai Voke, the second - Vilma Černiauskienė from Aukštadvaris, the third - Rimutė Miseliūnienė from Elektrenai. The best among children was Kristupas Jakubauskas from Lentvaris. We had a great time on Saturday, talked and remembered the memory of coach Alfonso Rimkus.
